Once you join you may participate in various speaking and meeting assignments. You start with simple roles, and as you become familiar with the meetings and develop your communication skills, you move on to more challenging ones.

Toastmasters International is a nonprofit organization that
now has more than 13,000 clubs in 116 countries.
The mission of a Toastmasters Club is to provide a
supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered
to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater
self-confidence and personal growth.
Exchange Park is a community club open to all.

Becoming a member is easy .....
- Fill out a simple application after you visit a meeting.
- Submit the application to the club Secretary/Treasurer (or VP of Membership) with your membership fees. Your ongoing membership dues are just $2.20 per week, paid twice a year.
- There is an additional one-time new member fee of $20 to pay for the materials furnished by Toastmasters International.
What do we do at meetings?
Mostly we practice improving our speaking skills and gaining confidence in speaking to others. We also develop our leadership and management skills, which can be a great asset to your career.
- Members give prepared speeches.
- Prepared speeches get evaluated orally and in writing by an assigned evaluator.
- Members (and willing guests!) give short impromptu speeches known as Table Topics.
