Partnering With Local Schools


Exchange Park Toastmaster's partnership with a local high school, helps young students develop their communication and leadership skills through practical experience.

In this program, students learn how to:
  • Evaluate their own speaking ability.
  • Prepare and deliver speeches.
  • Give impromptu talks.
  • Control their voice, vocabulary, and gestures.
  • Give constructive feedback and more.


This partnership was initiated in 2019 by Distinguished Toastmaster, Mickey Michaels, with Elizabeth Schiller and Adriana Buford co-chairs from 2020 through 2023. The program is currently managed by Lis Schiller and Tina Kubicek.
